I am currently in the hiring process to drive fuel tankers for speedway gas stations, and was wondering if anyone could give me any information about them. Mostly wondering if the $60,000/yr they are estimating as a salary is real or if they're just saying that to get people interested.

most likely they're just saying that like the other 99.99% of companiesOldironfan Thanks this.
-
I have no direct experience. But I believe if you look around on this site you will find that is kind of on the low end for fuel hauling.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
It might be on the low end, but it's more than I'm getting now at my current job, so I'm ok with it. Plus I've looked on here already and only found 1 thread about it, but no one really answered anything about the company directly. It has all been general fuel tanker information. But thanksOldironfan Thanks this.

I thought Marathon did speedways hauling as they own speedway.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Walmart is up to $81,000 to drivers now.
Or more.
@06driver and @driverdriver know this. -
They do, but not all of them. They kind of cherrypick stations and leave the rest for outside carriers.
-
Yeah, the guy at the interview did say that they are associated with marathon, I dont remember specifically how, but in my area speedway transport hauls the fuel for their stations. They also have a contract to haul fuel for another major chain in the area since there aren't a lot of speedways around.

Speedway poised to become nationwide.
Andeavor
SuperAmerica is becoming Speedway, end of a name that originated at a St. Paul gas station -
Any more info on speedway?
