Yeah power is fine with the manual. No worries... Don't derate.
3.08s would improve fuel economy, especially if you run faster than 60 mph.

Was reading the other threads and one of them was last post from you just now. and was about to post same questions but then realised it is you there also saying yess 100% yes to 455 xe package with 1750 torque.KB3MMX Thanks this.

Yeah same Tq @ lower rpm and slightly lower hp with XE
If you could flash 455-XE into it, then go 2.64s
XE package is iShift exclusive... Not sure if you could make it work with a manual somehow
The 500 Eco is good with 3.08s....... Could try 2.85smortal_oean Thanks this. -
Don't Derate it! Mine is at 500 up from 425 and it's just enough for me. I can't imagine turning the power on any engine down. I am iShift but I don't worry about the warranty. My truck had a new tranny at 500k due to a deer tearing out the tranny lines and killing the tranny with the previous owner.
mortal_oean Thanks this. -
I was stupid and had my retuned to a 500hp straight torque. I had a 425 ecotorque tune from the factory. Truck originally was a 10 speed manual with 3.42 rears. Now has 13 speed with same rears. Fuel economy is crap now.
mortal_oean Thanks this.
