No I don't have to be King of the hill. I am asking advices I have never bought a truck before even though I have lots of driving experience there's a difference between being an employee and owning the truck.

I am also curious if dealers are willing to negotiate on price from owner operators experience when they had purchased trucks.

I have been doing a lot of reading on these MX engines and while it seems they are more reliable and get better fuel mileage, you are also stuck with only Peterbilt or kenworth dealerships for repairs and the repairs seemed to be more expensive as there is no aftermarket parts apparently.

Btw whatever truck you buy it is a good idea to know the hours the engine has.
    Miles tell very little.
