I run the same area every day, different stops but same town. I’ve personally learned to find a bit of security in the predictable. It’s nice knowing what you’re doing every day, especially if it’s a run you like for the most part.

All trips were at least 8 days. The further the longer with Africa being 3 weeks. I enjoyed the wild/interesting side of Phuket/Bankgok. Capetown was second favorite, followed by London/UK and then Paris. Honorable mentions go to Cancun/Cozumel and Aruba.

After being so bored and spending a lot time in the truck, eventually you want "hometime" to be more exciting. Hanging with friends and family can be fun, but redundant at times.

The trips definitely compensated for the boredom and the memories SHOULD last a lifetime.

Great trip; really opens the mind and very refreshing. Puts things into perspective when you return.

We travel for a living so it's only natural I'd want to explore the world. 'Merica will always be home but nothing wrong with stepping outside of ya comfort zone. I encourage most drivers to take international trips, if feasible, you come back feeling like a million bucks.

If that’s what you enjoy, the God bless and more power to ya. :)

Seems like WAY more trouble than it’s worth to me.

I'd like to spend the summer overseas next year, but the better half is resisting. Have a few months to use the power of persuasion to convince her it's a wonderful idea. Even though I'm 15 minutes from the Las Vegas strip; this place is boring compared to overseas travel.

Take up golf, or if your really feeling courageous business itself.

It’s impossible to master either which is why I love both.
