This is a century, and I had a similar problem on my 12.7 Columbia. The problem was the Davco on that truck.Similar symptom, just that it idled normal , as opposed to this Century. The check valve on the Davco rarely goes bad, it's some other seal that goes , but I have swapped out the davco on the columbia to this century and I am still having the same problem.Yes, I saw that ball , and I have replaced the whole fuel pro.Just tired of throwing parts.

All I can say is if your davco is empty it' is that check ball. The fuel has to be going back to the tanks. Only way is thru that check ball.
That's one your issues.
If you haven't done so yet also replace the check valve on back of head on engine. -
Mech. delayed soo much. Finally, trash in the check valve .Replaced.Time to buy Biocide for the tanks. Thanks everybody
