Prime Inc. from day one as a new trainee

Very interested in this thread. I just applied to the prime training program.

Not really.

IMHO the best time to learn is in the winter. Then you get to be guided through winter weather driving with a trainer at your side

 

No such thing as "wrong" time.

It's just that it's cyclical. Summer is midpoint of cycle in refrigerated.

Refrigerated "season" is mid-March to mid-November.

The money is still out there during off season... just not as much and you sit more.

I wish I could tell u what happened to me at Prime but I'll wait for my day in Court first. Sorry u had it rough there as well.

No he didn't...he still works there...so does the Fleet Mgr and Safety Supervisor...they cover up for each other. It's not Prime or Ron or Rob Lowe that are doing it....it's a few bad employees with a lotta power to ruin drivers Trucking career.

 

Is this just for Prime reefers ? or all of the reefer industry as whole ?I thought I read on here that dry van has a slow time during the year, and that reefers stay busy all year, no ?
