The driving while CDL suspended alone by itself is enough to get him jail time. And I’m sure PA State Police is in touch with the Mississippi DMV and DOT to see what else this moron has on his driving record.
He’ll never touch a CMV again.

He was evidently so messed up he didnt know where he was going? If he was in New Jersey drinking, how did he end up on I-83 North? Last time I was up there, 83 went from Baltimore up to Harrisburg. Maybe theyve extended it since then? Prayers for the families involved.

I believe you all are right, his trucking days are over with.

I am a old drinker, but tolerance is so minimal after decades of being sober it don't take but two or three shots of schnapps or good spirits to take the edge off anything. I am usually very cautious with strong drink. I like it too much. So I take a little bit and call it good now and then. Never to excess.

What I don't understand is how he managed to get a big rig through 78 all the way to there supposedly in a alcohol soaked truck. If I remember 78 correctly there is a certain amount of precision required to be safe along there.

Huh. Jersey to 83 north. OMG, there are a few ways to do it, but it will have to be a mother of hell to drive it. I must question the failure of the company to understand that thier loose drunk is running off towards Delaware or something with a 18 wheeler out of route.

There are certain things in trucking I cannot abide and that is one of them. Im sorry for the family of the lost. I hope they rake in millions. A mountain of money will never bring back those young ones. Ever. But if a company is so bad to allow a suspended to roll a 18 wheeler then they don't need to be in business.

If he was in the southern part of Jersey and ran the Turnpike west and then got on 83 North...

Yep. Take the NJ Turnpike South to the PA Turnpike extension West(I-276)into Pennsylvania and take the PA Turnpike to the Harrisburg West (I-83)interchange.
