Go slow is best advice lol. Snow isnt THAT big of deal. Keep a safe following distance, and a safe speed and you'll be good. You will know when its "too bad" out. Believe me YOU WILL KNOW lol. Hits that point park the truck and message dispatch. This company is FANTASTIC dealing with winter. We will get messages with almost every winter storm telling us "if you dont feel safe park it and tell dispatch" and nothing will ever get said to you. Now ice is a different story. If its freezing rain and its freezing on the road park the ####ing truck plain and simple. I refuse to drive on ice. Snow and ice are 2 very different beasts.

As for things you need. Always keep a pair of warm gloves, jacket, hat etc. Extra blankets and extea water and food like soups etc that wont go bad. Get some kitty litter and put it in your sidebox. You'll need it for traction when hooking up to or dropping trailers in customer lots. If your spinning just throw some kitty litter under your drives and you'll gain traction quick

Smiley's. It's the small truck stop across the road from the Petro (White's).

Besides everything already listed, be extremely careful if you're driving on snow and you're empty.

@BazookaJoe it's also a good idea to keep alcohol in your truck. I put it in my washer fluid. 1 full bottle per gallon of washer fluid. Some folks put a capful in each hose line periodically to prevent any moisture in the lines from freezing and blocking the air flow. A pinch will do ya.

Well, it wasn't mine, I got it from others truckers :) Just don't put a lot in your lines. You don't need much. If you put more than a capful in and your brakes get warm, that would not be good. With the washer fluid, I feel alcohol is a must. Even if you use the 30-below washer fluid. It won't freeze under your hood, but it will freeze at the nozzles.

I want sure how that was worded.. it seems like a mileage differential(like how regional has) and maybe a base pay raise?

    Pretty curious about it tbh.
