Watching TV and they were smoking Gator ribs....I'd like to give them a try...but the restaurant was in Miami ....not a fan....that's why they built the turnpike so you can drive right by.

It's currently 28 so not too bad. It's been getting up to the mid 40's to 50's for highs and lows of around 20. It's perfect weather for me like @sawmill said.

Working on getting the last of the hay up here. A second job. Not hardly enough to justify cutting but to much leave for next year.
If you figure the speed and the hours. This tractor still possibly covers the distance from the Atlantic to the Pacific twice each year. KIMG1222.jpeg It is a 4240 but the hood is hogged out for the turbo. The front hydraulic coupling is for a 46 or 48 series tractor. I bought it that way and we have known each other about 20 years. Some years ago I found it had high compression pistons with a turbo. Put it back just like it was.
It is a sad state of affairs when I feel this 40 year old tractor is more dependable hour per hour the some of the new emission trucks. KIMG1222.jpeg

I believe you can max out your registered gvw in CO and WY can't you?
then you can run all but Interstates in CO to 86,500 and all WY highways with that configuration (3 axle tractor and spread axle trailer)

@SAR the highs up there in the territories are warmer than west Texas these days.

@OLDSKOOLERnWV how far are y'all from Elkins?? Headed down there in the a.m. haven't been down there in a long time! That's one place I'll never forget! The first time I drove a truck in the snow was across 33! Nothing like diving in head first!!
