I have a 2012 Cascadia with Detroit DD13.
Getting these 3 codes:
SPN 97 FMI 3 water in fuel voltage short?
SPN 97 FMI 15 and SPN 97 FMI 16, water in fuel
I can't find diags for the 97/3 code. It was the FIRST code that came up. Shortly after that one came then the other two came.

I work a short fleet of 2012 Pete's, replaced at least 5 WIF sensors within the last 3 months after having the yard diesel tank (leased) professionally tested for water intrusion, new sensor cheap compared to downtime testing, fixed every time.RAFAEL1975 Thanks this.

I believe you are correct, we just had a second one with the exact same symptoms. Replaced the WIF sensor under advice of a road side mechanic and she's all good now.

Driver side. Fuel filter housing. (NOT Water Fuel Separator). This is ON THE BLOCK on the driver side.
When the engine is on you will see a green LED lit up that says DRAIN or OK. THAT is the sensor. Go get one, easy to replace.

Do it quickly, because fuel will be coming out and you don't want too much to come because you might lose prime. If that happens you'll have hand pump it. The pump is right next to the large black filter.
