Whites is a Petro now with a blue beacon, big shop and couple hundred parking spots. They run a shuttle bus, have a sit down restaurant, Popeyes, Papa John's pizza? Subway, Big convienance store. Sell truck supplies, clothing, boots, you name it.... BBQ across from Petro isn't bad either and has a sports bar with live music. Pilot is on the other side of 81.

That’s a lose lose situation with that fuel island. When the fuel island was the other way people weren’t smart enough not to block the entire road waiting to turn in as it was only big enough for 1 truck deep. I don’t really mind it, nice they added a new driveway and all to go in now
-
Heard from @skibum_63 that the Bakersfield J is doing the same thing.
-
Haven't reversed fuel island flow.
Have added something like 300 spots in the last couple of years.
Are in the process of adding more still, right now.
The fact that a 750-space truck stop will fill up is a testament to the demand in that area. -
Flying J Ripon, Ca. same thing.
-
You are thinking of the truck stop on the other side of the highway.

Yeah, the Pilot that used to be a WilcoHess, which was fine as it was, but then Pilot had a better friggin' idea.
