Can anyone explain the reason for the passenger mirror above window?

In my 07 Volvo I clipped a 3 foot post and tore up the fuel cover fairing. Wish I'd had one.

Adjust it, just like all mirrors need adjusting.
If I had a truck without that mirror, I would be adding it. -
They still make that window in the lower corner of the passenger door, our 2013 Kenworth, and 2018 Macks still have them.MartinFromBC Thanks this.

It's a placeholder for two bird perch antenna mounts. I use one for my cell phone booster antenna and one for my satellite radio antenna. I forget what I did with the mirror.
