Hi I'm Marc I am trying to get the funds together to pay for trucking school. I plan on attending Baker College in Cadillac, MI. This course is longer and more expensive than any other that I have found. But I would be a Full-time college student which means this class qualifies for financial aid, student loans etc. Michigan has a No Worker Left Behind program that helps pay tuition, but it comes with a few hurdles to qualify. What I would like from this forum would be to have a few experienced truckers answer some interview questions for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    1. Who do/did you work for?
    2. What do you do in your job? What is a typical day like?
    3. How long have you been doing this type of work?
    4. What do you like best about the work you do? Why?
    5. What do you like least about the work you do? Why?
    6. How did you get into this type of work?
    7. What skills are needed for this work? Education? Training? Certification?
    8. Do you expect this field of work to grow or change in the future?
    9. Would you change anything about your job if you could?
    10. Do you work alone? How much influence do you have over decisions that affect you?
    11. Is there anyone else you would suggest I talk to?
