I'd rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6!

PharmPhail Thanks this. -
My friend has a sign in his yd that says " Tresspassers will be shot, survivors will be shot again" lol
I think that the gov should make dueling legal again for resolving disputes. That would thin out the population a bit more. -
I like the topic of this thread, both myself and my wife have our Michigan CPL's, I carry everywhere I legally can. The company I worked for didn't allow guns at work so mine stayed in the car, my pastor at church is uncomfortable with guns so I don't carry there either. I thank God for truck drivers that carry, a friends daughter was saved from a group of drunk predators by a truck driver carrying a 45 while on her way to college. Since I am planning to be a company driver, I will not carry while driving but I am glad that anybody up to no good will have to wonder what type of truck driver they will deal with if they decide to try anything. Again I thank GOD for the chance to be associated with other drivers who choose to carry and the ones who choose not to.

Some recent articles concerning firearms that Cybergal posted in Truckers News.
Just in case you have not seen them.

Lets not let a few incidents brand the whole bunch of us. I'm sure the person who pulled the gun was not a legal concealed carry license holder because if he was he wouldn't have risked his license over a parking spot. I don't think anyone should break rules or laws to carry, if you can do it legally and without breaking company rules, and you feel comfortable with it than carry one for me too!!

I was only posting this as a note to those to interested that the drivers were charged for the firearms in the commercial vehicle.
Just because someone has a concealed carry license does not make me trust their judgement if they have had a bad day or whatever. Ex cops with CC have lost their minds and shot people. -
The one thing that all CPL holders are taught in their training is at a traffic stop the first thing you hand the LEO is your drivers license with your CPL on top of it which will lead to the question "are you currently armed?" to which the answer is Yes I have a Springfield 1911 in a shoulder holster under my right arm. And then wait for further instruction with both hands on the steering wheel. I have been through stops in MI and OH with no incidents, once the LEO wanted to see my weapon, the other time I was told "nice choice". So when I see that someone was arrested in TN for having a loaded gun there is no doubt that the truck driver was carrying illegally to begin with. I know that TN has reciprocity with all other states CPL's I've researched OH, KY, and TN because I travel there often.

They are just as likely to get mad and run each other down with their 80,000 lb rolling weapons
