Don't be concerned about lumpers. High quality reefer companies usually have the lumper service already set up for the drivers, so the drivers don't have to do anything except check in with the receiving clerk. Sometimes you may have to call the dispatcher or Qualcom the dispatcher for a Comchek number. It's not like it used to be. I pulled reefers most of my career and don't recall any bad experiences with lumper services.
