yea guess u r right my fault, any decent books i can read up on to learn a little about these engines? I asked a mechanic couple weeks ago he told me to watch youtube

Replace all clamps and orings on the pipe from turbo to intercooler and road tested still same noise. It sound like jet type noise I would say.
-
What about the EGR venturi? Did you replace the orings and clamps there?
-
I replace the clamps and oring on the both. Intercooler pipes. From my understanding Venturi pipe you are referring to is the block on that egr pipe goes in and intercooler pipe by coolant tank driver side of the engine?

I have same problem, noisy turbo won't built over 30psi. I had it inspected last week, I've been told I have wrong turbo, took it back to Volvo in town where was installed back in January they opened the back and showed me the turbine blades, installed a restrictor plate but doesnt make any difference in performance. I counted 12 blades as it supposed to be for 2010 D13F.
Now I'm confused, I'm getting conflicting opinions.
Is there any site online to check this part number ? I'll have to buy another one, they won't cover warranty, are telling me turbo is ok, and looks ok.But something is wrong, since I got i have , low power, and I'm not sure the VGT function works properly, no turbo codes.Attached Files:

I got the same Volvo Reman on mine 2014 D13 700.000mi. Just bought that truck couple weeks ago and last night I notice that hissing noise after 15PSI sound like air leak, but CAC is brand new and I checked every inch of the pipes for any leaks. Also when it's cold there is whining noise developed, but this looks like coming from exhaust somewhere after turbo.

if the problem isn't fix yet. best thing to do is to check the upipe from your egr valve to your egr cooler with soapy water. do it when the truck has sat overnight. start the truck up, wait for abs to go away, idle truck and spray the upipe and best as you can. if you don't see it there then work your way around the cac system. not sure if you have a one or 3 piece manifold. possible slip joints but im sure you would have check those by now. other common leaks are cac where your air temp is and the metal reinforcement and the the cac pipe and the mixing chamber on the driver side of your engine. let me know please

Venturi, passenger side of block.. has 2 of the V clamps and they have orings inside.
Common leak area as well..
