theres a bunch of gliders and newer trucks with old engines installed.nothing illegal. installing a single turbo kit on an accert is illegal lol...now i have my eyes on a 2002 vnl 770 if i buy it i will install a 99 engine...paper rules!

My truck has a 550 3406e(complete rebuilt )and I was looking to buy a peterbilt that needed engine work ..I found a 2007 but couldn't make a deal.Then I found a 2002 vnl 770 volvo but that thing was falling apart. But you never know ... today I bought this:

Rare and heavy. I pull a conestoga and I know I will have to pass on some loads. But I'm as happy as a kid on a candy store. Now I have to buy flip flops to wear with socks on lol

Same engine I have in 01 Freightliner original from factory. Just got DOT 2 x in 10 days. 2nd time told to park on scale and bring in logbook. I wondered how they knew I had paper Log book. Wonder if this is the beginning of harassment. Either way I was legal

 

Nice Truck new seats smooth quiet ride. I’d probably have hard time staying awake till I got used to it Lol
