i am considering going to Roehl for flatbed as a student driver. I’m stuck between Roehl and TMC. Roehl is more convient for me to get home. I’m just worried about miles. They are offering me .44 CPM with 11-14 out and 3 days home
Is Roehl a good flatbed company?

Where is home?
You'll probably make more money at TMC and most of those drivers can be home weekends.tommymonza Thanks this. -
Home is Marquette, MI. I’m out side of TMC’s hiring range. I’m just worried about getting miles with Roehl

Just give them a shot brother. Try to last one year, and learn all you can. In this line of work, the only way you don't get miles is if you're unreliable.

Does anyone know what states you are in the most with Roehl?
-
Roehl has a terminal here in phoenix az.. I was considering them as well, but the driver facing cameras scared me away.. Melton has driver facing as well but they aren't monitored in house like roehls are.. actually had a Melton recruiter and driver trainer at our cdl school today and I got to talk to them both about their camera. I'd go Melton before roehl just because of the cameras.

Roehl turns the cameras off once you hit a certain amount of miles
-
you do know they will lie about the cameras to get you to joinAamcotrans Thanks this.

Just like roehl will lie and tell you they turn them off??? Do you work for either of the companies ones or just speaking out your ###?

I know enough about driver cameras to know that at any time they can spy on you. I have wel companies try to tell me it only records during certain events. There is so much proof online that they can just spy on you at anytime just look it up yourselfAamcotrans Thanks this.
