I looked at Part 395: Hours of service of drivers, I did not find anything specific on team driving. Not saying that it's not there but I did not find anything on it. I do know if your driving teams, you have to put your co-drivers name on your log book. You might want to read 395.8 Driver's record of duty status. Here is the website for more info>> http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations/administration/fmcsr/FmcsrGuideDetails.asp?menukey=395
How do I log when there are two drivers ?

No...while on your 10-hours you are either in the sleeper and/or off-duty.
If you have a day cab you can't log sleeper however because you don't have one. It is all line 1. -
Here's a better website. It is the Gov't. Printing Office website where all the cfr's are held. It is updated every October as mandated by law. do a web search for either the government printing office, or the code of federal regulations and find the GPO site.
You can't do a quick search but as we've seen in your forum those quick searches have often times provided the wrong information, if you remember me going around with some drivers that did a quick search from the FMCSA website and it provided the wrong information..........remember???

Not all companies are aware of this and it gets them, and/or their drivers into trouble. To that end, and from a personal perspective, it is unwise to give bad information. Some of these people have a hard enough time with the rules lest we offer improper information.

If you guys are driving down the road there is only 2 ways to log on your log book.
Line 2: Your body is in the sleeper (doesn't mean you are sleeping)
Line 4: Your body is in the passenger seat
Both of you should not do the same thing. Like you both don't need to deal with the loading/unloading. Only one of you.
Only one fuel the truck. The other one go order food and have it ready for the one fueling. l.o.l. Sounds good anyway
.
Other than that really nothing there shouldn't be any problems with hours since you are team. Just log the correct duty status. -
Thanks all.
