I put my drivers license at my parents house. Use a friend if nothing else works. Use a non taxed state too, like NH or TN.

I’ve been in the field for 2 decades with FedEx and Estes then more and more local. Then Small OTR and then Crete. I actually like Crete. Ask me anything.

I make NET average every week between 1000 and 1350.
I’m also a top runner. I hit the all star board as #1 in October and we will find out tomorrow if I hit it again for November. I hope so!!!!!!!

Today I nailed 646 for miles in 11 hrs with a 65mph lil red truck.

That’s with a flat I blew on the interstate. lol, it’s true.

I'm having a tough time deciding against reefer or dry van.
The big thing is I have a cat and a lot of company's are dog only.

They really should. No excuses really. It was the one thing missing from trucking until I encountered that pay. Suddenly alot of things became possible knowing where you stood and how to make a profit on each load down to the penny.

But I suspect companies hoard coins and refuse to allow so much to leak out to so many drivers every hour of every day. That would drive them crazy.

I am pretty sure I have seen some cats in Crete trucks. I dont know how people manage cats in a truck though. I had cats throughout my childhood, and never had one that would consistently come when called. A well trained dog will return to the driver, and the truck if called. If a cat gets out, it could turn into an annoying game of tease-the-human-while-his-14-hour-clock-ticks-away.

I know they have a yard in west Knoxville last Farragut, but I wonder where orientation would be for me? Hmm. Y’all got me tempted lmao

Also Crete or Shaffer? Thinking Shaffer if I can still catch the occasional Crete load to see my mother in east KY.

East KY would probably be the Lenoir City TN terminal.

There is also a terminal in Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN. I think all three of those locations are full terminals that do training.

Crete is dry van. Shaffer is reefer. Hunt is flatbed.

If you have a hard time sleeping with vibrations and white noise (fan/motor noises) stay away from Shaffer.
