So i got an air leak that myself and/or no one has been able to track down for some time now. It's around 60-90 psi/hr when the truck is off - lower when empty or bob tailed higher when loaded. The compressor keeps up with it while it's running, cycles on/off maybe every 15 or so min. Not ideal but is what it is at the moment. The BIGGEST annoyance right now is that if the auto-run is active the air gauges are active and thus the low pressure warning is active thus about every hour with the APU running sleeper climate controls and the auto-run on you have to wake up and turn the truck on manually to charge the tanks or alternatively run the APU without the auto-run and just let it run the aux batts down.

THE QUESTION I'M GETTING TO IS: Can the gauges/warning alarm be programmed via the ECM or BCM to NOT be active when the trucks auto-start is engaged? And/or any tips on tracking down this air leak would be more than welcome.

    Thx!

Make sure you don't have the "back cycler" button turned on or pressed in on the drivers or passenger seat if you have that option because it runs on air pressure and will run down the air after a shut down. Other than that, it's spraying soap and water on everything and hoping to find it.

Oh that's brilliant man. I do have that, I don't know if it's on or that's it but I'm certainly gonna check asap - NEVER would of even thought of that.
