Good Night From II

Edwardsville terminal. Have a 0700 delivery 15 miles!from here. Then a 1700 pickup in grain valley mo that goes to fort Collins co 11/2.
Picked this load up in Anton co and they put 2 big piles of what I think is fertilizer. Going to be interesting to see how the receiver unloads it. Hoping they put it on It's end and dump it.

 

Maybe it will be like Shafter location where they let you back the trailer on mechanical unloading ramp, drop trailer, chain landing gear down and work the ramp. Lot of fun

Oak grove mo at the Petro. Next load doesn't pick up till 1700 and since it's preloaded I m gonna call and see if I can get early. Like to put enough miles so I can drive all the way to final in fort Collins co tomorrow nd do my 10 there.
The load I just delivered was wheat and they had me go on a ramp and get out. Then they tilted both truck and trailer up to dump it all out.
Neat to see

 

The wood chip place I picked up from this morning did the same thing, truck and trailer in the air.
And ya, it was neat to see.

My Costco load to MN cancelled. The message said Costco was cancelling 'loads', so mine probably isn't the only one.
But it came with a new pplan... A Sears load picking up in Manteno, IL and delivering the second in Minneapolis and Minnetonka, MN, along with my home time message.
The pickup time said tonight at 2000, but it is preloaded. And I'm not delivering my current load until tomorrow morning.
I like that Sears. A very easy place, as long as you show up with a clean mt.

 

Load wasn't ready early.
So put myself in sleeper for 8 hrs at the Petro. Watch a few episodes of s.w.a.t. and slept for a couple hrs.
That gave me time to drive 190 miles here to flying j in Salina ks. Have about 480 med to final which I will do tomorrow.
Do my ten in the back. Have a 0500 appt the next morning.
Put in hometime for next mo day and ttuesday. Dm said it won't be a problem.

 

Driving thru Kansas city is on an i70 2 cars came together and spun out to the right less than 1/4 mile in front of me.
Only had 22 thousand in the box so was able to get the rig stopped before resending the car in front of me who stopped
On car was had it's rear end sticking out in the right lane
So I had to slowly squeeze by. S I got by it I saw it going in reverse across the 2 right lanes with someone trying to get it stopped.
Not sure what happened. But last I saw it was sitting rite in the middle of the westbound lanes.
Glad I got by in time

 

Menasha,WI terminal for a B service. Was put on maintenance hold after tcalling my load here, so good timing. First time here.

Nice terminal. Huge shop but only one tractor tech and one trailer tech.

 

Never been there, might have to check it out next summer

 

Been there once. Small terminal. Will never go back.
