How long do you stay out

Almost a year. But usually 9 months with the truck. Keep in mind when the logs are out of 70 on the recap and I have a off day until midnight that's my time even though I have yet to see my home.

 

I stayed out for 11 months once. Only reason I went home then was wife wanted me home for the birth of our baby.

Six months. Will never do it again.

12-15 weeks with a week or two off in between is what I tend to stick with now. I normally manage a reset every week and I’ll try to get out of the truck every month for a weekend or two.

 

3-4 weeks, then home for 3-5 days

 

Longest I stayed out so far was 6 weeks for my initial road training. After that I signed up for a dedicated division that gives me like 5-6 days off every 3 weeks. Usually after 3 days I'm ready to hit the road again.
