I had that same manifold spring a leak on mine. No big deal finished out the week and got it replaced.

Hi Guy,
Funny thing is Sunteck has been calling to offer me loads on the regular since than. Also, if you must know , I sent them the receipt of repair. If it would have been me on the truck , i would have drove it that way, but it was my driver.

 

The guy hasn’t responded after proof of repair was provided. He probably feels pretty darn stupid now that his fellow co workers keep calling me to offer loads.

 

True, I joined the day of to write the complain, but I’m actually reading other posts on the regular now. I didnt know this site was so actively used.

This is funny that he found a picture of the actual broker on the phone!!!!!! That shows he was officially pissed off! I agree with everything I read in this post Sunteck tend to be lower pay and heavy and basically a last resort type place they do a lot of the mulch loads where I live and pay even less then the other brokers which is already too cheap for 45k pounds of possible manure and mulch all over your trailer floor! Good luck to all and I see both sides of the story as well but side with the carrier on this one for the most part.

 

They called me today. I had to hang up on the guy. He had a VERY thick accent so I couldn't really understand him and he was having trouble understanding me. I got tired of repeating myself and saying, "huh?" after every word he uttered. Ultimately, what pushed me over the edge though was how he barked each word. I found the entire experience wasteful, annoying and just flat out disrespectful.

Learning a second language isn't easy. Especially English. However, in this business communication is about as equally as important as the truck itself. Perhaps he should stick to van freight since most of them don't speak English either.

 

Promises promises. Stuff breaks and they want it yesterday. tsk tsk tsk, and the abuse is not welcome.

Anytime a business associate or someone abuses you, walk away forever. (I have...)

 

How about beware of all of Sunteck, period?

They're worse than TQL about posting the same load multiple times.
