Which ever company sets up in a city to do Appliance installs and removals. Contractor work for the box stores

Been there done that before CDL. Paid junk and my driver made only $100 more then me 3x the work.

12-14 hour days and 16-22 stops. no thanks for $500 a week

I've been out of the, run as many miles as you possibly can mindset, however, I would say that an annual average of 120,000 miles as an OTR solo driver, is realistic.

Yinz are all crazy doing above 100,000 a year. Atta boys.
I do about 1,000-1,300 a week doing local dumpster 5x a week. that's enough seat time to make me go stupid.

We had an end dump driver that drove 42 miles last week. That's right, 42. He also had over fifty hours for five days.
He was working onsite on a big construction project moving excavation material to a stockpile. Sometimes he'd haul ten or twelve loads a day. Sometimes three or four.
He said he got a lot of reading done.

I believe it 100%. We have a guy that sits at a power station( Nuclear / Coal ) runs out boxes outside the gates to other drivers to haul. last load of his day takes to our landfill. which is around 36 miles one way. He lives 2 miles from home base.

Maybe 3 boxes he takes home in 5 days. If he tried. could beat 42 miles in the week :)

EDIT: I forgot to mention he idles the 550hp kenworth. Only jealous because that truck could be used for other crap. My dinky 300hp mack struggles and generates a lot money same with my under powered coworkers. However he can keep that boring job. we all get paid the same hourly.

Hourly, with OT. He's one of our retirees who comes in for extra projects like this when everybody else is busy.
The truck gets paid by the hour too. It's a good deal for everybody.

I can officially say CAROLINA CARGO!!!
When I first decided to drive I knew I’d have trouble landing a good job due to felonies on my background. But all I wanted to do was drive so I went for it. CC was the only one that would touch me. But I needed to get my foot in the door. So I swallowed my pride and drove for 10cpm!! YES TEN CENTS PER MILE!!!! That’s how bad I wanted it. Stuck it out for a few months and started to climb the ladder. Couple years later I’m right where I want to be.

So yes the blood sucking maggots at Carolina Cargo pay the lowest
