I think I’d look at a Cascadia before I wasted money putting a paccar in a Pete

    Northwest Hardwoods.

Between Marlinton and Edray on the 219.

Road gets a little hairy in some places if you’re coming north up the 219 off I64. Fortunately, it’s mostly downhill northbound...

Pack on 80k of gross weight in Marlinton and I’m sitting there thinking

“Switchbacks up a steep grade ain’t gonna be fun at this weight...”

Talked to the women in the shipping office... “oh no no no, down to Marlinton, left at the stop light, over the bridge, 39 to 92 South to White Sulphur Springs, son”

Well shoot next time I’ll just call for directions, yeah?

You jest but my DD15 was no slouch...

I don’t have the seat time to give you a 250k mile comparison between a Detroit and a Cummins...

But the new Detroit’s seem pretty stout. I’d love the 505 DD15 in front of a 13-speed to be honest. Just not crazy about another Cascadia...

Used to do some light wrenching for a guy who owned a small 2 truck company. Ran teams so the trucks ran hard. One had a Crumblins other a DD15. Both trucks were close in mileage and the same model year ('14s). He had more gremlins with the Cummapart than the Detroit..

Meaning: He'd had the ISX in for numerous warranty repairs, including an in-frame. The DD15 had been trouble free.

Our cranes stacked a bunch of towers in Mount Storm. Not sure what Dozers they were using but they had to let the cranes down the mountain with 2 of them attached to the back. Apparently a few times it got a little sketchy and they had to drop the blade to keep from loosing everything down the mountain.

Last time I saw you here it was suggested by some other members to cool it or I'd be gone.

Well, except for that @MagnumaMoose fella, gotta watch him.

Oh that’s good stuff right there!

Ironically I just watched a documentary about the Lincoln Highway yesterday. Very interesting.
