Mine was a complete Cummins ReCon engine. Come with new wireing harnessing and compressor. Pull the old out and put the new in...... done
Our company was die hard Cummins until this last batch of 2014’s...... nothing but problems.
New trucks are t680 with Paccar engines.
A couple guys on here are having good luck with newer Volvo’s with d13.
My Cummins isx is dead, buy a new truck, or do and In-Frame?

Once again you are doing all the work yourself and an awsome job if I do say so myself.
This guy is paying someone else to diagnose and repair his stuff.
That’s the difference in money well spent in my opinion!Nostalgic Thanks this. -
I am wondering, did the op actually have the truck checked to see if there is a leaky gasket or other issues?
-
We open oil cup loking trough i can see a white mixture ,causing from coolant and oil mixing together.
-
Oil cooler can also cause them to mix. Cheaper and easier to fix too.
tommymonza Thanks this. -
Rebuild motor. Buy another truck, you buyin all new problems and maybe another broke motor in a year
-
Oil cooler ,can you explain a little more about that?
-
Just like it sounds. It’s a tube on the right side of the motor using coolant to remove heat from the oil. Most of the time it puts oil into the coolant but it can go the other way too.
-
So,to get that pipe check or change it need to open the engine anyway or not.thanks
-
No it’s bolted to the side of motor
