Gotta love the freddys pickles crushing the eggs.

 

He must work for us foods, they have the freddys frozen custards account

 

As much as I like to complain about our warehouse, I have to give them credit for really making an effort to have the pallets strapped. They had a management change this year and one of the first things they did was buy more straps.

But, but, but food safety!!

Meanwhile, customers get mad if they see me put eggs on the bottom.

 

@Mike2633. Did you happen to do grant street downtown pittsburgh on friday 11.02 early mornin around 530am?
I Had to do PPG 1 plaza with the dumpster underneath the building, It's a double rotate with everything on the street.Brought out my full box,set it outside, picked empty put in inside.
GFS blocked my full box,I was gone five minutes. It was okay, he was stupid quick under 10 minutes. I gave a quick head nod and backed up and parked. HAHAHA

My second encounter with GFS battling for space within a month, 2 for 2. last time was childrens museum, holy moly ya'll dont screw around,

ATTA BOYs to GFS drivers in PGH. I'll give yins priority.

 

At least ya'll are getting straps lol. Warehouse behind on loading has lead to less than superb wrapping.

What is PSS? still GFS? just the name to distiguish itself within the company?

 

Yes just internal mumbojumbo.

 

McLane has drivecam and we’ve had drivers lose their jobs because of it, but they were doing stuff they shouldn’t have been when the camera was triggered. It’s quite a few strikes before you’re out, and they had plenty of chances.

I’ve heard stories from us, Sysco, and reinhart. McLane is nowhere near as strict. And we’re so short staffed, including management, that nobody wants to, or has time to, sit and look for a reason to fire drivers.

 

You lucked out. Not all them sales/service guys are fast when they do that stop. They have to put the order on carts and take it up the elevator. You ever run into a tall, skinny, bald, young guy from GFS, slap him for me, LOL. Tell him his buddies from the chain side gave you permission.
