As long you get direct deposit you don't really have to visit your bank.Direct deposit, debit card, internet and cash advances (FREE!) and you good. Also,ALWAYS have $100-200 on you in reserve. You never know when you may need CASH and CASH ONLY.

I use Ally online banking. They refund all ATM fees and pay #### good interest rates for a savings account because they don't have brick and mortar places to pay for so that just means higher interest rates for your savings accounts. My company directly deposits my money so I have my money anywhere. I pay with an Ally cashback credit card and get the statements online. I can check the charges and then pay the bill all online without ever leaving the cab of the truck. With my Ally debit card I can go to any ATM that's not being robbed at the time and withdraw cash, they automatically refund all ATM fees. If someone pays me with a check I can do online mobile deposit from anywhere with cell service.

Of course you can always get a cash advance when fueling at a truck stop so you don't even need the ATM's.

The ONLY issue is if someone pays me in a cash. Since I can't make a deposit via an ATM I can only purchase a money order with the cash and then deposit it that way. But I haven't been paid in cash in 10 years except by my elderly neighbor when I fixed her lawnmower for her. I had that 30 dollars in my house for years before I ever spent it on something.

Kudos to you sir. It might have been me that mentioned it a few years ago, but I will not take credit for it. I do notice a trend, seeing a dollar or more on the sink counter when I walk by showers with the door open. Those folks work hard. Reward them.

Christmas time I leave a much bigger tip.

Beyond the ability to have direct deposits to your banking account and being able to make almost any payment online or through your bank's app, there's another app I highly recommend.

The name of the app is "Cash". The icon is a white dollar sign inside a green circle. If you want to send someone money, ask them to download the app. Then use Cash to send them money. You DON'T have to know their bank information, they only have to be in your contacts list with a phone number.

When you select their contact and send money, that person will get a "katching" sound on their phone. They open the app and link to their bank account and the money is deposited. It's easy. It's free. No more trying to find a Walmart or Western Union and paying hefty fees.

I often opt to get cash when making a purchase at Walmart. You can get up to $100 cash from your account for free, without paying a fee.

Credit Unions typically have really good rates . I have 24 hr online access and set automatic payments up for most Bill's and Auto deposit for pay . Easy peasy
