Ya know, when you posted the pic of THE MAN I wasn’t even worried. That’s why I didn’t say anything. Knew you’d get through it just fine, cuz you keep your stuff up.

    Good job Tug.

@stwik dont feel bad partner, it happens.

There’s a fella sittin here on the staging pad right now with not one, but two broken axles. Had the diffs locked on a hill, spun in some loose gravel, that’s all she wrote. Driveshaft spins free all the way to the rear diff.

You didn’t damage anything, and that’s what counts.

Can you throw some of your chains out to reach the ### end of that truck behind you. Then throw a ratchet binder in the middle to try and ratchet yourself out. May need another chain to keep it tight as your loosen up the binder to get another bite on it. You don't need much, just a foot or so to get out of the dip.

When I was a young man I did a short stint in a tire shop. A guy was changing a mower tire, airing it up, turned around and got busy, it popped off the rim and shot over the top of a car in the bay and bounced to the other end of the parking lot. Glad no one was standing in the way.

Well, I figure you boys would be the best ones to ask.

What’s the story on brown eggs? Why do some prefer them?

I opened a pack of these yesterday not knowing I’d picked them up, and thought “yuck”, but was talked into trying one.

I agree, they are a pita! Breaking the bead is difficult and the wheel is so small you can't get a good grip on it.
