If you're willing to do flatbed, McElroy is based out of Cuba, AL with guaranteed weekends.

ain't NOBODY hiring right now! and it isn't your company that is starving you or your family. if you think you would get more miles at a different company, you're dreaming! good luck!

Have you thought about something other than trucking? A job at your local hardware store would pay better than what you're making now and you'd be home every night. Guess it depends on how much you need to live on.

This job is tough in this volatile economy.

Mule...here's my .02 cents worth....first thing that cought my eye was that you have a list...today that is not an option, and as I read more I see your wife is disabled. I do not know how the job situation is in Al., but you might research and see if possibly there are any Gov't agencies or programs,e.g.Social Security, that might retrain you, or assist you in job placement close to home due to your wife's disability. I do not see truck driving, at least OTR, as an option.

Unemployment pays twice what you are currently making. You need to seek better advice than you will find available here.

Good luck and best to you and your wife.....Earl
