Are you talking about when you get your plates? If so, you get all states and provinces listed on your cab card now. How it works is now on a 1 year delay. So when you renew next year, if you only used 4 states, those states will get whatever their respective % miles traveled for their plate fee, but you will still have all states listed. They changed this in 2016 or so.
20 Mule Team, stillwurkin, Hulld and 1 other person Thank this. -
IFTA is a universal fuel sticker from your home state that is honored in all 49 and Canadian provinces. No pick or choosing needed.
The 2nd poster is correct regarding the apportioned license plate [IRP] which issues all 48 and apportions the charges to the states used without the old nonsense of having to pick and later add by getting trip permits for states not on the cab card, as well as, loosing the states on the cab card you didn't drive in last year...;became much simpler now...20 Mule Team and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
