Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

776.8 miles!! AWESOME! Congratulations, I'm following this thread REALLY closely! Thanks for all the updates again!

Great news Steve. Let us know how things are going for you with your trainer.

Well, my first load (yesterday) was from Neosho MO to GA. Dropped today and picked up mty and then headed north for a load tomorrow headed for SC.
A day to go 163 miles .. I guess they can't all be long ones .. heheh
Got to say, driving all day (non Interstate roads) with a loaded trailer is a LOT different than school .. hehehe .. but I'm doing great.

I enjoyed reading your experience. My husband and I are thinking about going team with Conway once I get trained. Thanks for the reading, I know what to expect.

It was a while ago, I was still living in NC when I attended.

Well, what a week .. it's been great.
Started in Joplin MO, hit GA, SC, CT, ON Canada, and now sitting in El Paso TX waiting for a load. I have about 4200 miles so far (10 days).
Trainer seems real pleased with my driving, routing, and customer skills. I should be ready for my own truck within 2 weeks .. if the miles keep up .. but may have to wait 2-4 weeks to actually get my truck .. big shortage of trucks right now. For me it works out ok as I need to finish moving out of my house and need to get my Hazmat and Passport ... of couse 4 weeks is too much time
.. just have to wait and see.
Still lovin' it .. though it IS a whole different world
