ASU Newport, Financial Aid?

    I was wondering if you can get financial aid at ASU newport to get your CDL? I checked the website and I seen financial aid but im not sure if that also apply to CDL training.

    Accordig to their FAQ it does. They have several options for financial aid. I assume these range from trucking companies picking up the bill for a promise to work for them for a period of time...to federal financial aid, which could either be a grant or a loan at a low rate.

    A cash student, paying all fees and housing, pays just under $2k.

    I'd be interested to know if the companies that will pay your way will charge you a higher fee that is more in line with the majority of CDL mills.
