Trained at Kriska. No thanks! Very safety concious in the office but out on the road dispatch will push you. I was teamed up with a women trainer who only had 2 years trucking experience, she was 20 years as a dental hygenist and I was in a double bunk with her and that in itself was wierd because im a guy. Seriously with all the woman rights crap these days you make me sleep in the cab with her? Ya I know make jokes but no thanks. My story is long and I almost quit trucking because of her. So no way!

I have yet to hear ANYTHING good about Schneider.

I work for ITS now and I like it a lot. I'm not even a year and they have tried very hard to help me through some dificulties so ya I'm here to stay for now even at 41 cents plus safety bonus. Oh and when you go to the safety meetings you get $50 cash just for showing up, last time we got free breakfast to.

Garage has been awesome to, just ask and they will drop everything to help you out and get you on the road fast!

My Dispatch guy is dedicated to me so far and he is very understanding and helpful, usually after I do everything myself to figure out the answer then if I fail I'll ask and he is cool to answer. I've heard of some dispatch guys will put you down.

If you feel like telling your story, feel free to do so either here or via a private message to me. It sounds interesting.

Why avoid Bison? their driver finishing program looks pretty good for a new student just graduating.

Bighosscummins posted a pretty lengthy thread about bison and his experiences. If you still choose to go with them, do it with your eyes open.

I’m just in Miami FL, enjoying LTL and my Zen is pretty high. When I get back to Canada, I’m gonna write the mother of all posts; so that no one ever drives for Bison ever again lol.

But not right now, to much Zen and Sunshine.

Actually, I think it’s time to let it be. I’ve posted enough about Bison. Is someone reads all that, and still goes there; they deserve the raping that Bison gives them.

Let me finish with this, they spend TENS OF MILLIONS PER YEAR, telling everyone how great they are. Their default dispatch recording says “Thank you for calling valued and respected driver” that should tell you everything you need to know.

    DONE!

Sort of like companies who keep you on hold interminably, while playing, "Your call is very important to us."

    BigHossVolvo Thanks this.

" Oh and when you go to the safety meetings you get $50 cash just for showing up, last time we got free breakfast to.."

I don't go to safety meetings ever. They would have to pay me minimum 4 hours whether the meeting lasts 20 minutes or 4 hours. Another advantage of line haul:D
