Creeped south the last hour down 81 to Syracuse to get back to civilization to hunker down at the Pilot

Reserved my spot at noon while getting pumped knowing the Storm was a Comin

Best 15 bucks I ever spent

    I Love reserve parking

I didnt brave the elements though. I have a job to do, just as i had a job to do in the military. Whatever the weather, im going to be there when im supposed to be.

It did suck though. It sucked real f'n bad. 13.5 hours to drive 67 miles from the receiver in Jersey to home in PA. In 6.5 years of driving commercialy I have never experienced anything close to the ball NJ and PA dropped tonight.

Blew me away for how Krappy it was 30 miles north of Syracuse at about 7pm last night and how fast not just 4 wheelers were flying but also trucks.

I was down to 40 and wanted to be down to 30 but didn’t want to get rear ended by the trucks flying up on me.

The last couple miles into town it was starting to get Real ugly, thankfully the heavy traffic slowed the Volvo its got to be There or the Ditch Crowd.

I had a guy pass me when I had just started yesterday and he was in a ditch an hour up the road just east of Pittsburgh.

Also had a few of the wiggle worms (dual trailers) pass me and kept expecting to come across them blocking the roads.. Luckily it didnt happen..

Wasnt snow where I was at though.. Rain and sleet.. I was doing 55-60 and that was too slow, but was before the 45mph limit.

PA has been awful with keeping the roads up in storms for quite a while now. I guess with all the waste and corruption in the Turnpike Commission they just had to make some cuts.

919F20DA-AF32-4448-AADB-BF2796AC8E51.jpeg I don’t know where everyone thinks they are going.

They just spent an hour getting this jackknifed Volvo out from in front of me in the reserved section of Pilot

image.jpg Now the other 2 Volvo’s along side me are rocking back and forth trying to get out.

There is nowhere to go until the outer row moves. There is no way they are going to do a 90 degree turn on 10 inches of wet snow

They will just end up all jackknifed in here also

I am empty and nose heavy. I will get Stuck on a snowflake.

Another truck on the street got plowed in and is stuck right in front of the lot exit, not to mention all the other trucks plowed in on the street taking all the wiggle room

Persistence got the Volvo alongside me out.

Along with almost my front fender.
