Do you think this video would stop and attorney from going back and checking all the documents involving this driver for the past 5 years ? Regardless of fault any attorney could find something the company wouldn't want revealed in a trial and an out of court settlement would be made .
-
Always run 'legal' or at least look it hehe.
My truck will have a camera on all four sides. I plan to make a website where you can log on and watch them (provided my wireless is got a signal.). And to make many videos of stupid moves i see while driving, i figure i could make a new compulation of dumb driving every day right? Maybe 2x a day. -
You mean youtube right?
-
I think if you were to set a vehicle video system you could use it to your advantage so much such as.....With your company, To defend your dac, and I am sure your insurance co would give a discount.
-
I would say that there truck driver's actions saved the suv drivers life. Good thing he was paying attention and able to aviod the head on. I say he is a hero.
Scarecrow03 Thanks this. -
REPEAT AFTER ME!!!!
I will never leave the road for a 4 wheeler.
I will never leave the road for a 4 wheeler.
I will never leave the road for a 4 wheeler.
I will never leave the road for a 4 wheeler.
I will never leave the road for a 4 wheeler.
I will never chance a tree, cliff, ditch, bridge(or abutment), house, parked car, or a mailbox for a 4 wheeler, I will take my lumps staying on the road!!!
I once saw a driver DIE, when he left the interstate for a car that crossed a median, he rolled the flatbed and the load crushed the tractor after the tractor rolled.
I will never leave the roadway...
Once on an interstate north of syracuse, I blocked the road for a slow moving weaving car traveling wrong way towards me....cop gave me an attaboy, as the interstate ended in 2 miles and he would have been drunk weaving in a residential area in 3 miles.

i'm almost afraid to ask, but what are the chances of a 75000 lb tanker making that maneuver and remaining upright?
-
That's an interesting question -- especially if the tanker's hauling hazmat. I'm eager to see some responses on this.
-
Absolutely!
If you come into my lane, you are going to die... it's as simple as that.
If he would have missed the SUV and she'd have gone on her way, he would have been charged with failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
The only time I would swerve, is for an impending head-on crash with another truck (which I would be unlikely to survive anyway).
