I come from flatbed. Have 8 yrs experience and always heard good about Mercer transportation Louisville,ky. I'm thinking about leasing to them. My truck, my tags, their trailer their load boards. Wanting to hear from drivers who been there to see if it's worth doing. Currently leased to someone with decent pay but tired of being treated like a company man with o/op rules
About to make the move to Mercer. Am I doing right

I know nothing about Mercer but will say I have a friend working out of Indy and is very happy with Mercer. He bought a truck last Jan and kept busy all year long. Had him on flatbed all year and now just changed over to pulling fed ex vans through end of the year.
He signed up to their heavy haul to start but hasn’t done any heavy stuff. Just reg flatbed and haz mat flat actually. -
That's close I'm out of Ohio and that's what I was wondering. Want to go somewhere I'm gonna be happy with

I am in Indy. Any idea of his home time? I like Being home a lot. Current company I am with now I like a lane they have Kentucky to Chicago gets me home a lot. Any idea if Mecer has anything like that?

I'm leased onto Mercer I've never heard of their heavy haul, that's new to me.

Oh definitely taking your loads now lol

Mercer is all owner Operators, you take home time when you want. I run that lane as I live in Indiana, now is not a good time. Been very slow. I personally would wait till spring to think about coming over.
