That's good $ for a company man,,,
Not so much for an o/o.
And I haven't seen many Amazon tractors out there. -
I agree for a company driver it's good not for a O/O amazon is good deal but you gotta push
-
Please describe in great detail.
Also, post yo checks.Jay5GS Thanks this. -
Not going to post a pay check , Listen to me The driver shortage is Real you can literally walk into a company and tell them what you want (not the big companies tho)
I Walked in the company I'm at now told them this " I'm a runner I want 2300+ a week an automatic and direct deposit . the response I got was "Give me a week to get your truck ready and you gotta stay out for a least 2 weeks at a time." All these company's are so desperate its funny cause then us drivers get to exploit them
Now what you discuss in the office is your deal
I have less an year of experience and Tanker companies offering me training when your supposed to have "5 years Experience " blah blah -
Just get out there and tell them what you want
Don't be afraid to take a risk, alot of drivers I know always have this excuse " I have a family to feed so I need stability " but as long as you do your job run your clock and don't BS you'll be fine -
So don't settle for $.30 cents a mile and 3-4 weeks away at a time. My dispatcher gets me home every time my 70 runs out, very rarely run recaps unless I need to stay out longer for some reason. I make percentage pay and brink home $800-$1200 a week. Im brand new in this industry and have already noticed its all about the company YOU choose to start with. No body is forcing you to go with a ####ty company.
$3k a week though is $156K a year... I doubt you will find that as a typical OTR driver ANYWHERE. If you wanna make big bucks, go get experience and specialized in something... -
Jay......you might has well get you st to driving local cause you are not going to fine an over the road job that pays you 3000.00 a week for driving. But if they were to be some out there they would be far and few at the least in my opinion.
