Sorry for your loss. I lost my mom in 1992. She was 40 yrs old. She was 16 when I was born. She was killed in an automobile accident. A driver fell asleep and hit my parents head on. Luckily my dad survived. My mom was not as lucky. Loss is tough but, i believe it can help a person to build character, appriciate life, and in my case has made my dad and I closer than we would have been otherwise.
What instument do you play? My son is a music major at Indiana University. He is a freshman. He plays drums and pianio. He has been playing since he was 5. Has a real love for music. He is hoping to be a high school or middle school band director.
I have a 15 yr. old daughter. She also plays pianio and percussion.
I have been married to my high-school sweetheart for 22 yrs.
Enough about me this is a truckers thread. I forgot for a minute.

Nothing to say yet since this is a recent development this week. All I know is that the financing is through Daimler-Chrysler and it would have to be a 2003 or better with no more than 550k, so it would be newer than the Pete. Looking at their inventory for trucks that seem to fit it looks like it would be a freightliner columbia going by the lowest sticker price. I don't really see much with miles that low. even the '05's have more.

    LOL.. no, not yet.

Just remember that recruiters sell their company owner as "a former trucker" and it's a rarity and a selling point!

    Hey Guys,

Newbie here on the forum. I wanted to ask about which loadboards you guys recommend? I have been through several loadboards. I got rid of getloaded because the prices on those loads were horrible. Truckstop has been good for the most part but is definitely underperforming now.

Do you guys recommend any other online load boards? Good pay (as good as it can get in TODAYS bad market) and frequency/availability of loads. Please help.

Internet truckstop has so far been the most recommended. There's nothing great for dry, reefer, or flat right now. You'll have to look into something more specialized if you're going to do better without leasing on somewhere.
