I already have a hold of my CPL Class A. I have been reaching out to several schools and sadly they want me to stay for the 3-4 weeks. Is there any private school in Austin that will train me a couple days to get my CDL in a week or two?
Or should I just rent a truck and get it myself?

Can you pass the pretrip, skills test and road test now?

If yes, rent a truck and best of luck.

If not, do some research and choose a reputable trucking school.

Thank you. I was going to be local and get a CDL B license. Do I need to rent a bus and is it all the same with Skills and Pre-Trip test vs a straight truck?

I have been asking around, to see if I could start work with my paper CDL. 2 have said yes with paper while others want the physical one.

Check my Post #4; Edited it to give you a lead on a job and all you need is a CDL-A Permit.

I don't know about Texas. Check the CDL manual you probably have.

Yeah. I've meassaged them and they want me to stay the entire 3-4 week training. I might go with the rental option instead. I do appreciate the response from you both.
