Current list of companies you can lease to with a Quality truck

If you want to be home every day lease your truck onto an intermodal company pulling containers. You won’t stay afloat if you lease onto an OTR company and hang around the house.

I’m home everyday ( almost, unless I get an oddball delay or breakdown ) . My truck grosses around $7k a week . It could gross more , but I’m happy being loaded one way and coming back empty every day . I pull a walking floor hauling C&D.

 

Wow that’s AWSOME! Are you leased to a company or do you work for yourself?
And what is a walking floor? Is that like a LOWBOY? And what’s C&D?

 

Not lowboy, it's similar like chip trialer, it have a belt in the middle of the floor which roll off your load,

 

We have our own work,out of a private C&D transfer station hauling Crushed construction and demolition debri
We work by the ton and have a 107k overweight permit. A aluminum walking floor has
14 aluminum slats that make up the floor that alternate with 3 cylinders that slip under the load to walk the load out of the trailer . They can also reverse and walk a load
Into a trailer. You have to have a high pressure 2 way wetline on the tractor to run the trailer.

 

I e seen a few trucks like that for sale... that’s some pretty rough driving I bet?

 

I guess everybody who says work at McDonald's probably was there before signing on to England or Swiftly.

 

I can't imagine trying to lease a truck when the option to buy is out there
