Yea I wanted the n13b. I thought the 2015 trucks had those engines but the 2015 model engine doesn’t mean 2015 truck lol. Those engines haven’t really hit the used market yet

Well how has the truck been doing? Was wondering as someone said these engines are doing pretty good. Your thoughts?

Heavy D, I have a 2015 Prostar with the N13. Been losing power then get two codes. A 1703 and 1704. Both have 126 as the OC FMI is 5, SA is 232.

What do those codes mean? What could be the problem with loss of power?

    Thanks!

"SA" is source address or the address of the electronic module reporting the fault. Those aren't engine codes. 232 in my list is lane departure warning or Adaptive cruise control faults.

    KB3MMX Thanks this.

have a 2014 prostar N13, I've had it now about 19 months, in the shop for the 2nd pair of coolers right now. at a cost of 10k, I've had several problems, replaced fan clutch, fuel pump, clutch master cylinder, I have spent more in repairs than I have in payments since I've had this truck

My truck is also currently in the shop as well. Was loosing a lot of coolant with no visible leaks so it was assumed to be the egr coolers. Which will be the 2nd time in 7 months. I have the extended warranty on my truck so if it is it will be covered. As far as money spent in repairs I havent spent more than 2k in my 9 months of ownership.
