I was wondering if any owner operators here can tell me where a driver would look if he wanted an otr job with a small company. It seems all the job web sites are filled with mega companies. I'm looking for a small company. I live in the north east so something in that area would be best. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Looking for job hunting advice

Look on craigslist for non megas and research the company posting. Call and ask them questions.

Open up google maps. Type in transportation or trucking and find companies near you. Then phone them up or google search to see what the company is about.
I was leased on to a mega carrier and my mechanic told me about a guy with 10 trucks. Phoned him up and was hauling for him within the week. Absolute best decision I’ve ever made.Nothereoften Thanks this. -

Here are some local companies in Boston.
Boston Trucking Companies, Massachusetts Transport Companies -
Everyone in the northeast is pretty much hiring. Your golden if you have tank and hazmat. Steady pulse and warm body temp are the 2 main requirements. They may overlook the body temp.
