    I believe any idling law is retarded. You can idle your car for weeks if you want to. I guess all the greenhouse gases and smog are from just trucks. Ha ha oh wait they are from cars trucks and worst of all coal power plants.

    what is this world comming to .if you leave your pet in cold car,or a hot car its animal curlity,but if your a truck driver trying to feed your family you can just freeze,why do they care . its just a way for them to put more money in there pocets,why sould they take pay cuts like the rest of us.just screw the truck driver.

    Illinois has an idle law that is easy to live with. It gives exemption for sleeping time.

    It is based on the idling of the vehicle when NO ONE is around it. Such as school bus. Many of them will be idled for most of the day in the winter.
