I think you have been listening to KR. I also think you will be wasting time and money.

I would really like to find some interlock rear ends with the same gear I have or maybe just a little bit higher gear I already have the 250 rear end in a donor truck that's why I was wondering if it was way too high of a gear

Take the 250’s and regear them to a 2.96

Go to a gear shop they will build what ever you want. You will need the carriers for the one with the lockers. As the carriers are cut out for the locker

Good luck with that. I’d say 250 will be too high to run in overdrive. I guess you can run in direct. But even with lockers they won’t be any good off road

What size tires? Could you go any shorter to offset the high gears? If you are running 80+ MPH everywhere, the 2.50's would be great. If you ever need to ease around off road, the 2.50's will suck.

If you will be doing the work yourself, swap it in and try it. If you don't like it, learn how to re-gear an axle and gear them to whatever you want.
