Accessories relay in 379 95 pete

    few of my gauges in my Pete were not working and I saw that some guy said jump the accessories relay and all the gauges started working.my question is by jumping the relay and everything works does that mean that the relay is bad r could it still be something else.gotta drive 3 hours to get it so just want to make sure that the problem,also is there a way to check a relay to see if it’s bad

    Well depends on how you jumped the relay. If you jumped it across the 2 big terminals on the side it could be a wire issue.
    One side terminal should have power all the time. One small terminal on top is power only with key on and excites the relay. The other small one on top is ground. The other side terminal is power to gauges and only with key on
