United Road buys Fleet Car

They have to spend all of the money they steal from all of the people they work with some where! lol

 

Will this will make them the biggest carhaul company now? The Fleetcar owner ops I have talked to seem to like it. It’s more of a road job from what I have been told, but so is United Road.

 

I've talked to a couple guys over there. They do OK, but they say URS farms out most of the best contract freight because they can keep a bigger cut, rather than letting their guys make some more money.

 

I am sure it wont lead to higher rates, probably lower. All the large carriers have been playing the same game farming it out with 35 percent profit. Carlyle group owns united road . U.R.S. has has been bought and sold several times in recent years by big investment companies. All they care about is making profits for shareholders at any cost.
