I have been driving naked since 2009. I usually just slip on my robe whenever I have to go into the truck stop.

No laws requiring one, no. My question is did you think about this? Do you really want bodily oils and sweat soaking into the seat? A couple days no biggie, but after say a year....

No, the shirt is for more than just hiding one's body.

Well some of us are bigger than others below the belt so could be an advantage driving naked.. gives more room, overlooking the body sweat and oils..

    Women? Yes. Men? No.

Hey I don’t make the rules. I’m just stating what somebody said was in the FMCSA Green Book. (I heard it at the Laramie Petro so it must be accurate)

Just remember, even if you are just driving down the road or pulling into some greasy truckstop, as long as you are in that truck you are representing your company and the industry in general. So your appearance can go a long way in how the public perceives you, your company, and all truck drivers. Please, just put a shirt on and act like a professional.
