Maybe, maybe not. Kratom is popular with people that have back problems and other pains.
It's for sale on Ebay and Amazon.Metallica88 Thanks this. -
Here in Oregon it's for sale in most mom-and-pop convenience stores (not 7-11) and also most pot shops. And herb stores. The kind that don't sell pot but all other herbs. I do think it has value as an aid to opioid addiction and as a pain med. Pure CBD is also good for pain but I have no idea whether it would show up on a drug test. I wouldn't think so since the test is for THC and if there is no THC it should be fine. It's probably not available except where pot is legal though.
I wish that article had more specifics about how they tested for heavy metals, what brands they tested, and what exactly was found. -
I haven't tried Kratom, but do use betel nut which helps with back pain and a general overall better feeling. It's also for sale on Ebay and Amazon.
Sisbro and Metallica88 Thank this. -
Ok, I was going to ask what a kratom was, but you covered it. Walking and stretching number 1 back helpers.
Sisbro Thanks this. -
Chinatown, I finally got around to googling Betel Nut. I think I will stick with my good old heating pad! My goodness, I have never even heard of the stuff before but it's very wide spread in certain parts of the world, causes oral cancers and they say addictive to boot! A public health concern in places like Indonesia and Taiwan. Lots of interesting articles and studies on Google.

I buy it in those little storefront booths on the streets in China.
Probably get a backpack full this summer while can still get it through customs here in the USA.
I do brisk walking for exercise, in the late afternoon about dark and seems I can get an extra couple of laps in if I'm chewing betel nut.
